Fri Night @ Print Club London for 'Blisters Blackout'

So so peePO made the effort and ventured over to Dalston last night for the mighty Print Club LDN's 'Blisters Blackout' event (affordable art fair n that with ace illustrators galore selling 40 prints for £40) had my heart set on a Stevie Gee but wasn't too impressed with the rose + hand thing going on -sorry no picture- but thankfully ended my gallery walk in front of a JAMES JOYCE, a truly ace glow in the dark piece of graffico design.... bought it and mounted it.. get it checked below. >>> after the show i ended up in the basement of The Junction Room listening to some intense electro disco, nice to see some DJ's still bang the box on trestle tables :)

Stevie Gee's Work for Nike 6.0

Master illustrator Stevie Gee who's work i checked out at a Jaguar Shoes viewing way back in September 09 has just landed a nice NIKE commission that see's his Vengeance illustrations on a range of Nike 6.0 looks. Well done's pal. Reflecting back, the El Capitane custom racer was the cream pie!

Personal 5 star painter of the moment is Clare Price - her use of Gouache tracing over lines from an aged design program projected onto canvas is truly ace. Pixelated shapes filled between by POP SWATCH friendly Neon colours which then take a rally of spray paint. A complete wash of dribbling paint, sprayed and stroked - need to get me some of her work.
